Event Raised $32,000 for Heart Failure and Transplantation Program
On Saturday, June 14, 2008, Friends of Strong held the Third Annual “. . . And the Beat Goes On” heart transplant fundraiser at the Doubletree Hotel on Jefferson Road in Rochester, NY. In addition to great food, music and dancing was provided by two live bands: Second Chance and Third Degree. There was also a silent auction and raffle offered througout the evening. Thanks to generous support from businesses and individuals, the event raised over $32,000 for the Heart Failure and Transplantation Program.
