17th Annual Gala Wine Tasting

On Friday, February 15, 2008, Friends of Strong held their 17th Annual Gala Wine Tasting at the Hyatt Regency Rochester. There were more than 300 red and white domestic and imported wines and champagnes to taste. The tasting was held continuously from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. In addition to the wonderful wines, guests enjoyed cheeses, breads, warm hors d'oeuvres, and desserts.

The evening continued with music by the Matt Valerio Trio. There was also a silent auction and raffle of donated items during the evening. The event raised over $10,000 for patient care at Strong Memorial Hospital.
