Telephone and Television

For combination telephone and television service, dial 1-5000, from the patient's room and select from three billing options: home telephone billing, credit card or Telehealth Prepaid Card. If the home billing option is chosen, there will be an additional fee of $4.25 added to the first day of billing, per visit.

As of November 2003, the daily fee for combined telephone and television service is $7 a day, *with the exception of the Golisano Children's Hospital. The charges cap after 30 days of rental service. *Fees may change.

The hospital provides educational channels from Channel 47 to Channel 56 at no charge. Patients can access videos listed on the billboard displays on the education channels by dialing 7-0039 and requesting the video by number. The system is available 24 x 7. Closed captioning is available upon request. CCTV offerings include health information and family programming.

Please turn your TV off by 11:00 p.m. as a courtesy.

For Behavioral Health and Psychiatry Patients This service does not apply to patient rooms in the Behavioral Health and Psychiatry Units. However, there are pay phones on all inpatient units. The patient unit secretary can provide you with the appropriate number.
