Breaking the Language Barrier

For our deaf or non-English speaking patients, a visit to the hospital can feel like a trip to another planet — no idea what the doctor is saying, and no way to describe the pain.

At Strong Health, we know how important communication is to your health and peace of mind, and we're committed to ensuring a clear, open dialogue with every patient.

Interpreting is available at Strong Health Hospitals for persons who are deaf or hard-of-hearing, or for those who speak a language other than English.

  • We have Spanish language interpreters and sign language interpreters on call 24 hours a day for in-person translations.

  • We can also provide translation for 150 other languages via a telephone system, enabling instantaneous translations at the speed of conversation.
