Diagnosing Noise-Related Hearing Loss
As with other hearing disorders, the diagnosis of noise-related hearing problems may be based on:
- A complete physical examination and medical history
- A history of the symptoms of the problem
- Visual inspection of the structures of the outer and middle ear
- A thorough hearing evaluation by an audiologist
