Nicole A. Stassen, M.D.

Nicole A. Stassen, M.D. is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Rochester Medical Center. She received her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Dr. Stassen completed a residency in general surgery at the University of Chicago Hospitals. She also completed a trauma and critical care fellowship at the University of Louisville.

Dr. Stassen is certified by the American Board of Surgery in general surgery and surgical critical care. She is a member of the American Medical Association, the Association for Academic Surgery, the Association of Women Surgeons and the Surgical Infection Society. Her areas of special interest include trauma surgery, general surgery and critical care.
