Many new patients come through our doors each year. Almost all of them report that they feel overwhelmed by questions—and that their cancer diagnosis has catapulted them into a foreign land where they don’t speak the language.

We agree—cancer is a baffling disease and the daily realities of choosing and getting the care that you need can be daunting. The goal of our website and each and every individual on the James P. Wilmot Cancer Center health care team is to help.

The James P. Wilmot Cancer Center provides care for people with virtually every known type of cancer. We use both conventional treatments and clinical trials of the newest therapies. We believe our patients are more than the sum of their symptoms and quality of life is always a priority. We’ve earned the trust and respect of countless individuals, but that’s not enough.
