Home Care Through Visiting Nurse Service (VNS)

VNS provides help for patients who are discharged from the hospital following an acute episode of cancer. Our multidisciplinary team of specially trained professionals cares for the patient in their home and provides services tailored to each patient's specific needs.

VNS Supportive Care

The VNS Supportive Care program is designed to meet the complex clinical needs of any patient who has cancer, an end-stage illness or terminal disease. VNS Supportive Care also helps patients with symptoms such as pain or nausea. A Visiting Nurse Hospice program can be arranged for patients that need a more palliative approach to care. VNS Signature Care

Should you need more nursing service than your insurance covers, VNS Signature Care (formerly Community Care of Rochester) is a valuable alternative. VNS Signature Care offers a wide range of private-pay services, including personal response systems, companions and respite care for caregivers. More about VNS Signature Care
