Strong Heart and Vascular Center
Strong Cardiology Associates at Clinton Crossings
One Convenient Location Means Superior Patient Care
Multiple phone calls, waiting for a variety of appointments and traveling to several locations for tests no longer goes hand-in-hand with referral to a cardiologist.
Strong Cardiology Associates is a group of five cardiologists who provide a centralized, outpatient center for the complete evaluation of a patient's cardiovascular system. The practice integrates general and subspecialty cardiology consultation with a full range of non-invasive diagnostic and therapeutic services -- all in a single facility.
Our Approach Delivers Dual Benefits
Obviously, this streamlined process is more convenient for you. Fewer phone calls, coordinated appointments and just one location. But, there's more. The close involvement of cardiologists with the testing process also has the potential to provide a positive impact on patient outcomes. What could be more important than that?
A Unique Coalition of Expertise
Our physicians, James P. Eichelberger, M.D., Henry S. Richter, M.D., Gladys Velarde, M.D., Hanna Mieszczanska M.D., and Robert C. Block, M.D., M.P.H., offer general cardiology services; plus, each also has a special niche of expertise. All are board certified and fellowship trained. All teach at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and are actively involved in a variety of cardiovascular research efforts. They are a dedicated group of cardiologists whose focus is to provide the best in patient care while advancing the understanding of heart disease.
NOTE: Since we teach future physicians, you may be introduced to students, residents, or fellows in our office. However, be assured your care is administered exclusively by a member of our group.
Comprehensive, Advanced Outpatient Testing
Our services for patient evaluation feature the most advanced equipment and techniques in non-invasive testing. For example, we are on the forefront of incorporating nuclear medicine into a cardiology office environment. We perform the following tests:
- Holter monitoring
- Event
(loop) monitoring
- Stress Test
