Hanna Z. Mieszczanska, M.D.
Dr. Mieszczanska joined the Cardiology Unit faculty in August of 2002. Her clinical activities include attending in the non-invasive (echo and nuclear) laboratories at Strong Memorial Hospital and the Clinton Crossings facilities, as well as inpatient and outpatient consultations.
Dr. Mieszczanska’s research interests are women’s health and metabolic syndrome in women. She is working on a research project with Dr. Charles Francis, from Hematology, on “The effects of Pioglitazone on Post-prandial Hemostasis and Endothelial Function in subjects with Insulin Resistance”. Dr. Mieszczanska is fluent in speaking Polish.
