Stages of Ewings Tumor
Currently, there is no formal staging system for the Ewing’s family of tumors. Progression is described in the following terms:
Localized Cancer has not spread beyond the bone in which the cancer began, or it is found only in the bone and nearby tissues. |
Metastatic Cancer has spread from the bone in which it began to other parts of the body. |
Recurrent Cancer has returned following treatment. It may come back in the original location or in another part of the body. |
