  • Cardiac support
  • Ventilatory support
  • Vascular support
  • Control of intracranial pressure
  • Specialized head and spinal cord injury management
  • Deep and conscious sedation for painful diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for children throughout the hospital

FYI...

Emergency care vs. critical care

Emergency departments treat patients who suffer from a broad range of problems from the relatively minor to those that are life-threatening. Emergency Department physicians stabilize gravely ill or injured patients and transport them to the Critical Care Unit for further treatment and long-term management.
