Partnering Together Makes a Better World for Children

Our division works with our local kidney foundation, the National Kidney Foundation of Upstate New York. Our doctors serve on the Medical Advisory Board and our social worker helps coordinate a support group, Kidney Kids Club, for children with kidney disease and their parents.

Kids Talk brings together children and parents who know what it's like to live with kidney disease. Siblings are always welcome, and parents have a chance to talk with each other. Come and enjoy fun activities, food, laughter, and a chance to make new friends. We have a lot of fun. Activities include:

  • Winter luau party
  • Christmas party with Santa
  • Kidney Walk—June 11th
  • Patient Services summer picnic

Our children are encouraged to join! Kids Talk meets on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 1 p.m. at the National Kidney Foundation, located at 15 Prince Street, Rochester, NY 14607.
