Our Services and Programs
The Pediatric Nephrology Department at Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong provides a full range of services for all children with acquired and congenital kidney disease and related hypertension (high blood pressure) within Rochester and the surrounding area. Our services are geared towards treating not only the medical needs of our patients, but the emotional needs as well.
We work closely with the Kidney Transplant team and the Dialysis Center in order to provide the best care for our patients.
Our services include:

Consultations on complicated cases with kidney abnormalities
- Outpatient and inpatient care
- Short-term and long-term care of kidney disease, including disease management and treatment
- Peritoneal dialysis, hemodialysis, continuous veno-venous hemofiltration
- Kidney transplant
- Pain control
- Second opinions
