Pediatric Endocrinology
The Division of Endocrinology/Diabetes at Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong is devoted to the care of infants, children and adolescents with health issues related to the endocrine system.
We offer a full range of diagnostic, treatment and consulting services, for subjects from the newborn period, through childhood and adolescence into early adulthood. Symptoms that present themselves in a child may be very different from those in an adult with the same endocrine-related disorder. We offer the only multidisciplinary team of pediatric diabetes specialists in the Finger Lakes Region.
While we provide both inpatient and outpatient care, our goal is to help as many children as possible stay home with their loved ones and enjoy their normal routines. To accomplish this and also provide the comprehensive care these children need, we’ve set up an Endocrine Clinic and Diabetes Center.
Endocrine problems are typically complex because they involve many systems and structures within your child’s body. Our endocrinologists work with a variety of other pediatric specialists to provide a multidisciplinary plan of care and to meet the specific needs of each and every child who comes to us.
