Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (CAH)

  • CARES Foundation is a non-profit organization formed to educate the public and physicians about all forms of Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia, its symptoms, diagnostic protocols, treatment, genetic frequency, the necessity for early intervention and benefits of newborn screening. It is also dedicated to providing support and information to affected individuals and their families.

Diabetes

  • Managing Diabetes includes all of the hand outs and reference materials issued when your child visits the Pediatric Diabetes Clinic at Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong.

  • The American Diabetes Association is the nation's leading nonprofit health organization providing diabetes research, information and advocacy. The mission of the Association is to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.
  • The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation is the leading charitable funder and advocate of Type 1 (juvenile) diabetes research worldwide. The mission of JDRF is to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research.
  • Children with Diabetes Foundation is a volunteer organization devoted to assisting people living with diabetes and supporting the work of scientists and physicians throughout the world searching for a cure.

Growth Disorders

  • The MAGIC Foundation is a national nonprofit organization created to provide support services for the families of children afflicted with a wide variety of chronic and/or critical disorders, syndromes and diseases that affect a child's growth.

  • Klinefelter Syndrome.org is a support group for parents and children with Klinefelter Syndrome

  • Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWSA -USA) is an organization of families and professionals working together to promote and fund research, provide education, and offer support to enhance the quality of life of those impacted by Prader-Willi syndrome

Sexual Differentiation Disorders

  • The Turner Syndrome Society of the United States creates awareness, promotes research, and provides support for all persons touched by Turner Syndrome. The national Society is a non-profit tax-exempt organization headquartered in Houston, Texas, that provides assistance, support, and education to girls and women with Turner syndrome, their families, physicians, and the interested public.

Thyroid Disorders

  • www.AllThyroid.org is a website from The Thyroid Foundation of America. A membership organization, TFA is supported by contributions. Information, support services, and referrals to thyroid specialists are free to all.
