Adolescent Medicine provides consultative services to primary care physicians and subspecialists throughout Upstate New York, and primary care services to parenting teens and their children. In addition, comprehensive care services for patients with eating disorders are available and are coordinated with other programs to provide the full continuum of care delivery.

Family planning, sexuality, pregnancy and general adolescent gynecological care
Sexually transmitted disease diagnosis and treatment
Behavior, family and school problems evaluation and counseling
Mental health issues associated with medical conditions
Eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa or bulimia nervosa
Obesity
Adjustment to chronic illnesses (diabetes, sickle cell anemia, asthma, congenital heart disease and pain conditions)
Health care for special populations including gay youth, juvenile justice and runaway youth
Health promotion, education and disease prevention counseling
Medical consultants to high school based clinic
