Symptoms of an Eating Disorder
Some of the symptoms of an eating disorder are also symptoms of
other illnesses. That's why a full evaluation at Strong is so important.
Among the symptoms of an eating disorder are:
- Continuous dieting and preoccupation with food
- Sensitivity to cold
- Cold hands and feet
- Compulsive or excessive exercise
- Dizziness or fainting
- Hair loss
- Abnormal weight loss
- Slow heart rate
- Absent or irregular menstruation (females)
- Excessive facial/body hair
- Swollen salivary glands
- Lack of energy/tiredness
