Arrhythmias and Syncope

Our pediatric cardiologists provide diagnosis and treatment options for children with heart rhythm abnormalities (arrhythmias) and a history of unexplained fainting (syncope) or palpitations. Diagnostic evaluation may include:

• ECG or EKG
• 24-hour electrocardiographic monitoring
• Use of a cardiac event monitor
• Tilt table testing

• Electrophysiology studies to study heart rhythm abnormalities
• Radiofrequency ablation to treat abnormal tachycardia
• Pacemaker implantation
