Nutritional Counseling

The Registered Dietician works with patients and their families on the nutritional issues specific to the gastrointestinal disorders. Nutritional therapies for the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease, suboptimal growth, food allergies, obesity and enteral and parenteral feeding are individualized by the Registered Dietician in the clinic setting. The use of medical nutritional formulas and diet plans are monitored and adjusted to promote growth and development. Initial and ongoing nutrition education and counseling are provided to our patients and their families.
