Strong Pediatric Practice
Exceptional Care for Children...
Welcome to the Strong Pediatric Practice at Golisano Children's Hospital. We are the areas largest pediatric clinic, serving over 10,000 of your family, friends, and neighbors. Our practice offers exceptional health care services for children - from newborns to young adults (age 21). Strong Pediatric Practice serves children with a variety of complicated medical conditions in addition to healthy children. Among our faculty we have experts in the care of asthma, ADHD, obesity and lead poisoning. The team of care providers is not limited to doctors; it includes residents, nurse practitioners, nurses, technicians, nutritionists, social workers, psychologists, and psychiatrists - all dedicated to providing excellent, compassionate care to your child.

The appointment line is available Monday through Friday, 8AM - 4:30PM. Please call 585-275-2821 for more information or to schedule an appointment. If you have a non-life threatening emergency after 4:30PM please contact the the practice at the number listed above and you will be connected with an after hours service. If you are in doubt about the severity of the health concern or are having a life threatening emergency please call 911.
Appointment times are available Monday through Friday 9AM - 4:30PM, evening hours until 8pm on Wednesdays, and Saturdays from 9:00am - 1:00PM.
If your child is sick, an appointment will be scheduled immediately.
Routine visits are generally scheduled within two to four weeks.
Located within Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong, Strong
Pediatric Practice is easy to find and a pleasure to visit. The
entire 6th floor of the Ambulatory
Care Center (AC-6) houses offices, treatment rooms, and state-of-the-art
equipment for the care of children. Should your child be admitted
to the hospital, the doctors, nurse practitioners, and social
workers from our practice - who know your child - will
help coordinate care.
Insurance
Strong Pediatric Practice participates in all major area health
insurance plans including (but not limited to): Blue Cross/Blue
Shield, Blue Choice, Blue Choice Option, Fidelis, Preferred Care, Preferred
Care Option, Aetna and Medicaid. Should you have a problem meeting
out-of-pocket expenses, financial counselors can offer assistance.
