In the Emergency Department you fill find a team of physicians, nurses and patient care technicians working together to ensure you receive the best treatment possible.
Our Standing Orders allow our nurses to begin treatment on a patient prior to the assessment by the doctor. This is an advantage when the ED is busy as it allows blood to be drawn and x-rays to be completed before the doctor even meets with the patient. This enures faster care as the doctor is able to assess the patient and the x-rays at the same time, so they can make a quicker medical treatment plan that is tailored to the patients' individual needs.
More the 50% of our doctors are board certified putting the Emergency Medicine Department ahead of the state mandated regulations.
