Osteoporosis: The Enemy of Every Older Adult
Osteoporosis, a disease in which bones become fragile, is one of the major causes of painful and debilitating fractures in older Americans.
The statistics are sobering; each year, there are 1.3 million osteoporosis-related fractures in the United States. And it's estimated that one in every two women and one in four men over age 50 will have an osteoporosis-related fracture in her or his remaining lifetime.
But the upside is that osteoporosis is both preventable and treatable. We invite you to learn more about this disease, and what you can do about it, by visiting Strong Health's Osteoporosis Center.
