Neuro-Ophthalmology and Oculoplastics
Patients with symptoms of visual loss unexplained by findings inside the eye. Double vision, unexplained visual loss, headache, and protrusion of the eye are appropriately referred to neuro-ophthalmology. Associated diseases may include cranial nerve palsies, visual field loss, nystagmus, optic neuritis and other optic neuropathies, thyroid-associated eye disease, migraine, and idiopathic intracranial hypertension.
Surgical expertise includes orbital tumors, socket reconstruction, eyelid repair, and orbital decompression, as well as correction of paralytic strabismus.
