Palliative Care
Our Services
Pediatric Inpatient Consultation
 |
The pediatric palliative care team serves children
who are hospitalized or who receive outpatient treatment at Golisano
Children’s Hospital at Strong. Like the
adult program, pediatric palliative care can be provided
alongside
the active treatment of a patient’s underlying illness.
In a recently established division of the Strong Health
Palliative Care Program, the pediatric team focuses on
issues that are unique to infants, children, and adolescents.

The pediatric team includes a rotating group of pediatricians,
pediatric nurse practitioners, and pediatric social workers
who work closely with members of the Strong Health Palliative
