The Rehabilitation Services Department is located on level two of the east wing of Highland Hospital.

The staff at Highland Hospital is committed to providing excellent care and to help you make the transition from hospital to home with the highest degree of independence. The physical therapy staff at Highland Hospital provides inpatient treatment for:

  • Orthopedic injuries
  • Whirlpool/wound care
  • Low back/neck pain (McKenzie approach)
  • Lymphedema (LeDuc method)
  • Ergonomic/work-related injuries
  • Motor vehicle accidents

Meet Our Specialists

Becky Perrone, MSM, PT

Becky is the director of Rehabilitation Services at Highland Hospital, and sees outpatients in Women's Health and in Acute Care. She received her B.S. in Physical Therapy from Russell Sage College in 1991, and recently completed a masters degree in Management from Roberts Wesleyan College. Becky has a special interest in Women's Health and in Lymphedema, and has completed related coursework.

Maryanne Asaly, PT

Maryanne graduated from the University of Buffalo in 1974 with a B.S. in Physical Therapy , and has extensive experince in Orthopaedics and Acute Care. She is a certified clinical instructor, and her interests are in Medicine and Physical Therapy for the rural population.

Emily Loomis, PT

Emily is a recent graduate of Daemen College, where she received her B.S. in Physical Therapy with a minor in biology. She currently works on the ACE unit at Highland and is interested in Geriatrics, particularly Alzheimer's and stroke patients.

Adam Wille, PT

Adam received his B.S. in Clinical Science from Ithaca College in 2002 and his M.S. in Physical Therapy in 2003. His special interests include sports medicine, orthopedics and neuro rehabilitation.

Sharon Linsz, MSPT

Sharon graduated from Walsh University in 2003 with a M.S. in Physical Therapy. Her areas of special interest include geriatrics, orthopedics and neurology.

Stephanie Baker, MSPT

Stephanie attended Ithaca College where she received a B.S. in Clinical Science in 2001, and an MS in Physical Therapy in 2002. Stephanie is the therapist for the Orthopaedic and General Surgery unit. Her current interests are in Orthopaedics and Neurological Rehabilitation.

Melissa Lanich, PTA

Melissa graduated from Genesee Community College in 1993. She has experience in both Acute and Long Term Care. Melissa's special interests are in Women's Health and Geriatrics.
