Practice Description
Welcome to the CulverMedical Group where both adults and children can get their medical care. We believe health care is a team responsibility. The more you know, the better decisions you will make about your own health. Your doctor, nurse and social worker will work with you and the important people in your life to develop the plan of care that is best for you.
You can expect us to help you learn about your health and how to treat any diseases or illnesses you may have. We will also help you try to lower you risk for certain diseases and to inform you about recommended screening tests for your age and risk factors. We invite your participation by coming to appointments, bringing your medication, and asking questions.
There are six full-time attending doctors in the office who have their own practices and also spend time teaching younger doctors. Many of the doctors in the office are completing residency training in both internal medicine and pediatrics. These doctors have completed medical school and are now working under the supervision of attending doctors. You may see one of the residents in the office even if your insurance lists one of the attending doctors. The residents are always supervised by the attending doctors and, occasionally those attending doctors also talk with you and examine you during your visits to the office. Our residency program is one of the top internal medicine/pediatrics programs in the country and we are proud to have the excellent providers it brings to us.
