Emergencies and Hospitalization

Most HMO insurance plans, such as Blue Choice, Preferred Care, StrongCare, Blue Choice Option and Preferred Care Option, require prior approval of all hospital emergency room visits for coverage. Please call the office at 585-654-5432 before seeking emergency room treatment.

However, if you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, such as difficulty breathing or serious injury, go to the nearest emergency room and the hospital staff will notify us.

The Culver Medical Group is an affiliate of Strong Health. Our providers admit adult patients to Highland Hospital and children to the Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong and Rochester General Hospital.
