URMC Teaches

Our providers are board certified in internal medicine, and, as faculty members of the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, they teach medical students and residents. Our residency program is one of the top internal medicine/pediatrics programs in the country.

As part of the doctors' teaching responsibilities, medical students and residents may be present in the office. These residents have completed medical school and are now working under the direct supervision of our attending physicians. If you prefer not to have a student or resident involved in your appointment, please let us know and we will be happy to accommodate you.
