Adult Day Care

Adult day care provides respite for caregivers and a welcome change of scene for seniors. Adult day care programs follow either a social model or medical model. Social programs may focus on providing companionship or on hobbies or other special interests, while medical programs may focus on providing therapies such as dialysis, ventilation, and rehabilitation.

Strong Health provides adult day care Meadowbrook Adult Day Care, located at The Highlands Living Center at Pittsford, 100 Hahnemann Trail, Pittsford, N.Y. The phone number is 585-383-1700.

Good Times With a Therapeutic Approach

Because Meadowbrook is part of Strong Health, seniors and their caregivers can be confident they'll receive the highest quality medical support. Seniors are given a health assessment when they first arrive, and then can benefit from our services including speech therapy, physical and occupational therapy, nursing care, dietary consultation, social work services, and even on-site dialysis. All programs can be adapted to support their successful aging and individual interests. Participants, even those who are frail and in need of rehabilitation, are always a welcomed part of the group. And while guests are attending Adult Day Care, caregivers can feel good about enjoying some time off.
