Who Performs Health Assessments?

At Strong Health, where seniors are a priority, a team of professionals trained in many different geriatrics specialties performs assessments. We call this the "multidisciplinary" approach. Team members can include:

  • Geriatricians–experts trained in senior health care issues
  • Geriatric nurse practitioners
  • Social workers for care planning
  • Behavioral neurologists
  • Geropsychiatrists–specialists in mental health
  • Physical and occupational therapists for rehabilitation to get you moving again
  • Urologists
  • Orthopedic surgeons for bone problems

  • Geriatrics mental health assessments and diagnosis services for adults 60 and older are offered at the Strong Behavioral Health Older Adults Services at 585-274-4605.
