Our practice physicians also serve as faculty members of the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, where they participate in the teaching of medical students and residents. As part of your doctor's teaching responsibilities, a medical student or physician-in-training (called a resident) may be present in the office, seeing patients under the direct supervision of your doctor.
