About Us
Merideth A. Rao, M.S., CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist
Ms. Rao received her Bachelor’s degree from SUCO at Buffalo and her Master’s degree from Nazareth College of Rochester. In addition to her work at Strong Memorial Hospital, Merideth is currently an adjunct professor at Nazareth College in the graduate studies program.
Ms. Rao’s special areas of interest include traumatic brain injury, including brain tumors, acquired language and cognitive disorders, adult and pediatric dysphagia, and head and neck cancer. She is a member of the Cranial Facial Team at Golisano Children’s Hospital at Strong and provides speech, resonance, and swallowing services for clients and their families.
Outside of work, she absolutely enjoys gardening, writing, volunteering, and cooking.
