Dr. Salloum, an Associate Professor at the University of Rochester Medical Center, received his medical degree from the American University of Beirut in Lebanon and completed his surgical residency at the University of Florida/Shands Hospital in Gainesville. He then completed a fellowship in surgical metabolism and nutrition at the University of Florida and a fellowship in surgical oncology at the University of Chicago.

Dr. Salloum is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a member of the Society of Surgical Oncology, among several other professional societies. His areas of special interest are gastrointestinal surgical oncology, colorectal surgery, melanoma, and sarcoma.
