History of Highland Hospital

Highland Hospital has been serving the Rochester community for over 100 years. During that time, the Department of Surgery has been an integral part of providing quality care to patients and families in our community. Over the years, we've been a center of education training numerous surgical residents in our operating rooms and physician offices. Our affiliation with the University of Rochester Medical Center gives us access to state-of-the-art research facilities and our physicians and resident benefit from the collaboration with an academic medical center.
