Surgical Treatment for Morbid Obesity

There are several types of surgical procedures to cause significant weight loss. These procedures are used to make the stomach smaller limiting the amount of food you can eat, to reduce length of your intestine so your body absorbs fewer calories, or both. Gastric Bypass is one of these procedures that can be performed with a minimally invasive technique.
