Ultrasound Assisted Lipoplasty (UAL)
UAL uses a special cannula that produces sound waves. This ultrasonic energy liquefies the fat, which is then suctioned out. UAL seems to be an easier, more effective form of liposuction for certain fibrous areas of the body, such as the upper back or the enlarged male breast.
