Dr. Vega is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Rochester Medical Center. He received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, where he received a prestigious, 21st Century Scholars merit-based scholarship. Dr. Vega completed residencies in general and plastic surgery at the University of Rochester Medical Center, and is actively involved in breast cancer reconstruction research and has a particular interest in cosmetic facial and breast surgery, as well as reconstructive microsurgery.
