About Us
The Division of Solid Organ Transplantation at the University of Rochester Medical Center provides multi-organ transplant services to the Western New York region, including Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, and the Southern Tier. We're recognized as a United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) transplant center for adult and pediatric:
- Liver transplantation
- Kidney transplantation
- Kidney/pancreas and pancreas transplantation
- Intestine transplantation
And we offer Western New York's only Heart Transplant Program

Living Donor Transplant
Our living donor liver and kidney transplantation programs are nationally renowned. We have special expertise in liver failure caused by a variety of diseases, such as:

- Idiopathic cirrhosis
- Hepatocellular cancer
