Bladder Training

The bladder training technique should be tried only after your pain has been relieved. Its goal is help you reduce urinary frequency. You become aware of how much fluid you drink and how often you urinate by keeping a diary or using biofeedback equipment (devices that measure and help you become aware of body functions). Then you develop urinary control by gradually increasing the time between urinating. You may practice “timed voiding”, that is, urinating at specific intervals or times of day.
