Ureteral Obstruction
A ureteral
obstruction is a condition where an organ or disease
puts pressure against the ureter and causes a blockage. This
blockage interferes with the flow of urine out of the bladder,
causing urine to build up, which can eventually cause damage
to both the bladder and kidney. Symptoms may include severe pain,
fever, nausea, difficulty or painful urination and blood in the
urine, and should receive medical attention.
