We are proud to introduce Dr. Avice O’Connell as the Director of Women’s Imaging at the Highland Breast Imaging Center. Her vision and leadership is vital to our commitment to provide the highest quality care in a compassionate, comfortable and supportive environment.

Dr. Avice O’Connell has practiced radiology for over 25 years in Rochester. She received her medical degree from Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland. Following a medical residency there, she was elected a member of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland. As our Director of Women’s Imaging, she brings her expertise to the Highland Breast Imaging Center. Dr. O'Connell is Board certified in Diagnostic Radiology, and was recently inducted as a fellow into the American College of Radiology. Her special interests are Mammography and Women’s Imaging. Dr. O'Connell is past president of the Rochester Society of Radiologists and the Rochester Academy of Medicine.
