While we deal with all types of breast problems at the Highland Breast Imaging Center, we specialize in breast cancer care through our Comprehensive Breast Cancer Program at the James P. Wilmot Cancer Center.
We believe in cancer management, not just treatment. This means caring for the whole person, taking into account your diagnostic, medical, surgical and emotional needs.
All services are coordinated–screening, diagnosis, biopsy, surgery, radiation or chemotherapy, and support therapy–by a team of experts who meet weekly to customize your treatment plan, and to provide the continuity of support you will need at this difficult time. By having everything coordinated, you will receive more responsive, effective treatment and a more personal level of care from professionals who know you. We also keep your primary care doctor in the loop every step of the way.
At the Highland Breast Imaging Center, our mission is simple: to improve women's health and reduce the negative impact of breast cancer in our community. While ongoing research is promising, we believe that by providing specialized breast care today, we can and will make a difference in the fight against breast cancer.
