Cynthia Angel, M.D.

Cynthia Angel, M.D. is Associate Professor of Oncology in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. A graduate of Pennsylvania State University College of medicine, she completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology and her fellowship in gynecologic oncology at the University of Rochester Medical Center.

Dr. Angel's research on cervical cancer has been published in many journals including Gynecologic Oncology. She also works to actively educate the community about GYN oncology and has given numerous community presentations for groups such as Cancer Action.

Dr. Angel is certified by the American boards of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology and is a fellow in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is a member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists, the International Gynecologic Cancer Society and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
