There may be some common injuries that happen to athletes. But, there are no common athletes. Your skill and activity level, age, sex and sport all make a huge difference in injury prevention, diagnosis and treatment. In fact:
- Each sport has its own inherent stresses.
- Young athletes’ growing bodies require different coaching, conditioning, and medical care than more mature athletes.
