Blood and Marrow Transplantation
Program
Over 900 transplants have
been performed at Strong Memorial Hospital’s
Pediatric and Adult Stem Cell Transplantation Center
over the past 10 years.
Since 1989 our program
has provided services to the residents of the
Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York and its
surrounding
communities while gaining an international reputation
for providing superb clinical care.
Scientific
and clinical research are integral aspects
of this comprehensive program, and offer patients
access to the latest advances in technology
and drug development.

The Hematology Program provides treatment for patients
with hematologic malignancies, including:

staff in social services,
nutrition and financial counseling is available
to help our patients through this difficult time.
Over 100 ongoing clinical
trials offer our patients unique access to the latest
in experimental, and/or cutting edge treatments available
at the
Cancer Center for a wide variety of malignancies.
