On referral to the Cancer Center, your medical history is provided to an oncologist for review before your initial, on-site visit. This gives the doctor an opportunity to share your history and diagnosis with a multidisciplinary team of patient care professionals who work together to develop an individualized treatment plan that is best for you.
Working With Our Staff
Our staff will encourage you to share all information regarding your cancer with them. It’s a good idea to have a written list of symptoms and questions ready when you come in for an appointment. This will help you remember everything that might affect your treatment plan. Please don’t hesitate to ask questions. If something matters to you, it matters to us. The more you and your family understand about your condition, the better you and they can help.
