The Highland Hospital Auxiliary was formed in 1974 and is a major financial contributor to the hospital. Since its inception, the Auxiliary has donated over one million dollars to Highland, designating funds to such items as renovations, medical equipment, the Hope Wall and most recently, the Intensive Care Unit Waiting Room remodeling.
The Auxiliary raises funds for the hospital through sales from the Gift Shop, the Coffee Nook coffee shop in the main lobby, and through sales and fundraising events throughout the year.
The Auxiliary also organizes and sponsors events throughout the year for employees and volunteers of the hospital, including the annual Easter Egg Hunt and Tree of Lights holiday celebration, as well as annual Scholarship.
The Auxiliary is a volunteer organization, dedicated to helping Highland to provide quality health care.
