Our Physicians

Every day, our physicians, nurses and other medical professionals throughout Strong Health have the privilege of caring for thousands of children and adults, sharing the most vulnerable moments of their lives. We listen, test, treat and monitor, we hope, comfort and motivate, and we try to instill healthy behaviors in our patients, so they need us less. Every day, we’re working to improve the health of our communities, one person at a time.

A partnership between doctor and patient is integral to good health, and Strong Health includes a community of over 5,000 physicians committed to an effective partnership with each and every patient. Our providers bring a wealth of expertise, experience and compassion to the partnership and it shows:

  • Strong Health, where experts in cancer, cardiologyorthopaedics, epilepsy, neurosurgery, organ transplantation, pediatrics and neonatology–to name a few highly rated centers of specialization–provide the highest quality clinical care in acute and outpatient settings.

Our physicians have a wide range of credentials and specialize in many different areas.

Primary Care Physicians–Our network of 115 primary care providers, practicing in 28 locations in Monroe, Livingston and Wayne counties, believe that the more information you have, the better decisions you will make about your own health and the health of your family.

Pediatricians–In addition to the general peds practice we have pediatricians with expertise in over 20 medical specialties and 10 surgical specialties–all dedicated to helping children in need.

OB/GYN–We have approximately eleven practices that employ full time faculty members. These practices include general OB/GYN, the Strong Fertility and Reproductive Science Center and gynecologic oncology.

Specialists–Within the University of Rochester Medical Center Faculty Group there are 630 employed specialists that specialize in everything from pediatric cardiology to urologic oncology to heart transplant surgery.
