At Strong Memorial Hospital, our volunteers are a vital part of the patient care team, providing needed services to both patients and their families. Volunteers are seen throughout the hospital escorting patients, delivering flowers, working in our shops, and working at the information desk.
Friends of Strong, with over 1,200 volunteers, provides quality programs and services throughout the hospital and community. During the year we organize many fundraisers and special events that help raise money to purchase amenities that the hospital could not otherwise afford.
